Kevard Adventures provides a unique off-roading experience for Novice, Intermediate and Advanced riders. Rider safety and respect for the environment and nature are a priority for our experienced team, while ensuring that each of our off-road bikers get to enjoy an unforgettable adventure!
Family Rides
Family rides are days where there are two separate tracks to cater for the whole family. There is a separate novice track and then an intermediate track which caters for intermediate bikers. On the intermediate track you will encounter various obstacles such as banks, river crossings and fire breaks. If there is the possibility of the obstacle being too difficult for the average intermediate rider, alternate routes are marked. This track is not for novice riders. (There are always a few advanced sections put in just so that the advanced riders don’t get too bored!) Markers revenge is an advanced section of about 5km which the markers include to test the more advanced rider. This is normally ridden on the day so there is no knowledge of where the track goes until the day.
Novice Rides
Beginner / Novice Rides are very sedate with tracks varying from 5km to 12km in length. The route consists of farm roads and very easy fire breaks. Any obstacles, such as mud holes or river crossings, are very easy indeed. These routes are marked in Green Day-Glo and are separate to the main track.
Specialty Rides
These rides are rides done on request for groups ranging from 5 to 10 riders where specific riding conditions can be experienced. These are tailor made rides ranging from a beginners day of instruction to an advanced ride to Ellesmere. If anyone or a group of people feel the need to experience one of these rides, please e-mail rides@kevard.co.za and enquire about these options.
Technical Rides
This ride caters to experienced, advanced riders only and includes river crossings, drop-offs, mud holes and hill climbs along Jacobs Ladder and Dunbar’s Donga.
